Making a Duvet from your Quilt Tops, Saturday, October 12 Learn how to create a duvet cover using a completed quilt top or by showcasing beautiful fabric(s). The duvets are easy to make and a great way to add variety to your bedroom decor. You can easily switch covers with the season or holiday. Covers are easy to remove and wash. You may purchase a basic comforter for the inside or freshen an old one with a pretty new cover.
Please allow 1-1? hr. for the class. It will be a lecture/demo class so you will not need to bring your machine. Feel free to bring a quilt top and we can discuss how to transform it into a duvet cover (this is not required). Bring a pen/pencil for writing and possibly something hard to write on.
Quilting with your Presser Foot Down, beyond Stitch in the Ditch...... Saturday, September 28! Creative ideas will be shared to inspire you to have fun with quilting your projects without free motion quilting. You will learn many helpful quilting tips about preparing your project for quilting, selecting batting, thread, needles and more. Many project samples will be shown . You will also learn how to create your own unique quilting design templates. Please bring sheets of copy paper, ruler, a paper scissor and pen or pencil. Class will last 1? to 2 hours. Cost $20. Saturday, September 28, 10-noon.
